RESEARCH EXTENSION PROFILE
  • Research outputs:
    • 65 publications in SCIE-indexed journals
    • 30 publications in SCOPUS-indexed, non-SCIE journals
    • 5 authored books, including titles published by Springer and Cambridge
    • The average impact factor of SCIE journal publications is 666, with a cumulative impact factor of 107.778 across 65 articles in five years
    • The average H-Index of faculties (as per SCOPUS): 2.
  • The Department has established two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Université Gustave Eiffel and Université Paris-Est Créteil in France. Under these agreements, two first-year MSc students from our department are expected to pursue their second year of MSc studies in France, along with provisions for faculty teaching mobility. Each selected student will be eligible to receive €2780 annually through the Erasmus+ grant, while faculty mobility participants will be supported with a travel grant of €2200 per visit under the same scheme.
  • Faculty members have developed and are currently offering six MOOCs under the MHRD-SWAYAM initiative on the SWAYAM platform.
  • The faculty actively participate in international academic events, often supported by travel grants. Notable examples include:
    • ICIAM Conference, Tokyo, Japan (August 2023) – supported by NBHM Travel Grant
    • Visits to Institut Henri Poincaré and Université Gustave Eiffel, France (June 2023, two weeks) – supported by GEU Travel Grant
    • ICFIDCA Conference, Sendai, Japan (August 2024) – supported by DST Travel Grant
    • Teaching Mobility visit to HUN-REN Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Hungary and Université Gustave Eiffel, France (April 2025, two weeks) – supported by Erasmus+ Grant.
  • The Department has organized a total of 18 conferences, seminars, and workshops over the past five years.
